By accessing or using LegalAnalytics.AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

LegalAnalytics.AI provides AI-powered case evaluation and expert witness matching services for legal professionals handling clinical negligence and personal injury cases.

The Service is NOT legal advice. All outputs (QCE assessments, expert matches, letters, briefs) are tools to assist your professional judgment. You remain solely responsible for all legal decisions and advice provided to clients.

3. User Eligibility

The Service is intended for:

Qualified solicitors and legal professionals
Law firms and legal practices
Users over 18 years of age

You represent that you have the authority to bind your firm/organization to these Terms.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI models
Share your account with unauthorized users
Use the Service to process data you don't have legal authority to process

6. Intellectual Property

Our IP: All content, features, functionality, code, AI models, and trademarks are owned by LegalAnalytics.AI and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

Your Data: You retain all rights to your case data and client information. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs
We are not liable for any professional negligence claims arising from your use of AI outputs
Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim

Professional Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying all AI outputs and exercising independent professional judgment before relying on any Service output.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LegalAnalytics.AI from any claims arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Professional negligence claims based on your legal advice

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. As a data processor, we will:

Process data only on your documented instructions
Maintain appropriate security measures
Assist with data subject requests
Notify you of any data breaches within 24 hours

10. Termination

Either party may terminate your account:

You: At any time by deleting your account
Us: For breach of these Terms or illegal activity

Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After 30 days, data will be deleted in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified 30 days in advance via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
